We are based in the South Orange - Maplewood, NJ area. We will travel within a 50 mile radius of 07040. Anything outside of that radius will require an extra mileage fee of $1.00 / per additional mile.

We are a dry-hire mobile bar. What that means is that we do not have NJ State liquor license. We are a bartending service that provides the bar and everything else. Alcohol is not include in our packages and must be supplied by you. When you book with us, we will work closely with you to create an alcohol list for your event.

As soon as possible! If your event is at an private residence or private event space, please let us know. We want to make sure that your venue allows you to use outside vendors like us. If it is a private party, you can book immediately.

SOMA Sips will review your initial inquiry and get back to you within 48 hours. We will book a 30-minute initial consultation where we go over your event details and provide you with a quote. Once you are ready to move forward, you will receive a contract and an invoice for a 30% deposit. This retainer fee will be required at the time of contract signing to reserve your date. Please keep in mind, deposits are non-refundable!

Each event package has a flat rate that covers the cost of our service, bar rental, labor, preparation, and travel. Depending on your selection, there is an additional charge for on-site staff.

There are many different options available to suit various budgets. Our packages are prepared with our customers in mind and the goal is to make this process as seamless as possible for you.

Lucky you! Our bartenders are more than qualified to show up and serve behind your bar. We offer a staff-only package if that suits your needs.
